These charges are merely allegations, and the Defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.

Contempt of court: such things as failing to obey any of the judge’s orders, failing to pay a traffic fine, or failing to appear at a mandatory court hearing.

Failure to appear means after lawful notice or process, wilfully refuses or fails to appear before any court or judge.
