Big Island Beaches to reopen October 1st

All County and State Beach Parks on Hawai‘i will reopen effective on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at 7:00 a.m., under Mayor Harry Kim’s COVID-19 Emergency Rule #12.

Camping at all beach parks and shoreline parks remains prohibited, and all persons must continue to abide by face covering, physical distancing, and gathering requirements of no more than 10 persons. Additionally, Rule No. 12 further clarifies approved quarantine locations.
