The County of Hawai‘i Department of Parks and Recreation is pleased to inform the public that the Kawamoto Pool in Hilo is open as of Monday, April 25, 2022. The staff has resolved the mechanical issue and restored water quality and clarity. The Department sincerely appreciates the community’s patience as we worked through this issue and restored safe swimming conditions.
