David Ige Releases $700,000 for Kolekole Stream Bridge

David Ige recently released $700,000.00 in capital improvement project funding (CIP) to finance the design and land for the rehabilitation of the Kolekole Stream Bridge on Hawaiʻi Belt Road on Hawaiʻi.

As emergency repairs continue to the Kolekole on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) in North Hilo, the Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation (HDOT) is reminding the traveling public of the temporary 12-ton (24,000 pounds) posted weight limits for these structures.
