Election Office reminds voters about Single Party Primary Election

The State of Hawaiʻi conducts a single-party primary election for federal and state races. To vote in the single party primary you must first select a political party on your ballot. After selecting the party of your choice, you must vote for the candidates in that party only. Votes for candidates of another political party or the non partisan candidates will not be counted. On the back of the ballot, all voters can vote in the Office of Hawaiian affairs and county contests.

If you have any questions about the single-party primary, contact the Elections Division at 961-8277
