Executive Order NO. 4685 – Setting Aside Land in Keopu 2, North Kona for Public Purposes

Addition to Honuaula Forest Reserve

FOR FOREST RESERVE PURPOSES, to be under the control and management of the State of Hawaii, Department of Land and Natural Resources, Division of Forestry and Wildlife, being that parcel of land situate at Keopu 2, North Kona, Island of Hawaii, Hawaii and identified as “Addition to Honuaula Forest Reserve,” containing an area of 17.49 acres, SUBJECT, HOWEVER, to:

  1.       Perpetual Non-Exclusive Pole Guy and Anchor Easement, Easement 9 covered by Grant of Easement: State of Hawaii to Hawaii Electric Light Co., Inc. and GTE Hawaiian Telephone Co., Inc. dated October 6, 1998 and recorded as Document Nos. 98-157046 to 98-157048 (L.O.D. S-28299), and
  •       Perpetual Non-Exclusive Pole Guy and Anchor Easement, Easement 10 covered by Grant of Easement: State of Hawaii to Hawaii Electric Light Co., Inc. and GTE Hawaiian Telephone Co., Inc. dated October 6, 1998 and recorded as Document Nos. 98-157046 to 98-157048 (L.O.D. S-28299),

more particularly described in Exhibit “A” and delineated on Exhibit “B,” both of which are attached hereto and made parts hereof, said exhibits being respectively, a survey description and survey map prepared by the Survey Division, Department of Accounting and General Se ices, State of Hawaii, both being designated C.S.F. No. 25,92 and dated February 4, 2022.

This executive order does not authorize the recipient of the set aside to sell or exchange or otherwise relinquish the
State of Hawaii’s title to the subject public land.
