AFFECTED AREA: CUSTOMERS ALONG KUMULA STREET BETWEEN KA‘AKEPA STREET TO KULA‘IMANO ROAD; BETWEEN HIGHWAY 19 AND LOEA PLACE, INCLUDING KULA‘IMANO ELDERLY HOUSING AND KAUHALE OLU APARTMENTS; INCLUDING ALL SIDE ROADS AND LANES; PEPEʻEKEO, SOUTH HILO, HAWAI‘I

The Department of Water Supply will be conducting a fire hydrant flow test on Kumula Street between the hours of 10:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 4, 2022.

The affected area may experience slightly discolored and turbid water for several hours after the test. Customers are advised to refrain from washing clothes and to store a container of water for their drinking needs until the supply of water is restored to normal.
