Hawaiʻi County Department of Parks and Recreation announces that the Gilbert Kahele Recreation Area will be closed on Tuesday, October 25, from 4:30 am to 12:00 pm for vector control operations. As a result, public restrooms and amenities at the park will not be available during this timeframe.
