Hawaiʻi County Department of Parks and Recreation announces that the Gilbert Kahele Recreation Area will be closed on Tuesday, October 25, from 4:30 am to 12:00 pm for vector control operations. As a result, public restrooms and amenities at the park will not be available during this timeframe.
The County thanks commuters for their understanding as we work to improve the conditions at this park.
