Hawaiʻi Island – The County of Hawaiʻi Planning Department has received several new applications for subdivisions and consolidations, according to a public notice issued in accordance with Section 23-58.2 of the Subdivision Code. The applications were submitted between June 16 and June 30, 2025.
The following applications have been submitted for review:
- Puna: An application was submitted by Rider Levett Bucknall Ltd. on behalf of ‘Aha Punana Leo Inc. (PL-CON-2025-000088) to consolidate two parcels totaling 11.091 acres into a single lot. The TMKs for this property are 1-6-004:046 and 053.
- North Kohala: Makanikahio Lands LLC (PL-SUB-2025-000341) has submitted an application to subdivide a 42.016-acre lot into two lots. The proposed new lots would be 0.800 acres and a remainder lot of 41.216 acres. The TMK for this property is 5-2-001:002.
- South Hilo: An application from Rick Barbati, Jason Blackmore, and Ashton F. Flinders (PL-SUB-2025-000342) seeks to subdivide a 2.030-acre property into three lots. The lots would range in size from approximately 13,373 square feet to 43,770 square feet. The TMKs for this property are 2-8-014:013, 021, 098, and 108.
Maps and documents related to these applications are available for public inspection during office hours, 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., at the Hawaiʻi County Planning Department offices. The offices are located at 101 Pauahi Street, Suite 3, in Hilo and at 74-5044 Ane Keohokalole Highway, Building E, 2nd Floor, in Kailua-Kona.
