Hilo, Hawaiʻi – The Hawaiʻi Department of Transportation (HDOT) has released the schedule of lane closures for state highways and roads on Hawaiʻi Island for the week of Saturday, July 12, through Friday, July 18, 2025. Motorists are advised that these schedules are subject to change at any time without further notice and are weather permitting.

KANOELEHUA AVENUE (ROUTE 11) — HILO
- Monday, July 14 – Friday, July 18, 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.:
- Pocket closure in either direction between mile post 2.8 to 3 (near East Palai Street) for maintaining pocket lane markings.
- Left pocket closure in the southbound direction between mile post 3.6 to 3.7 (near Hale Manu Drive) for maintaining pocket lane markings.
MAMALAHOA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 11)
- PAHALA (WEEKEND WORK – Mile Post 50-52, near Maile Street):
- Saturday, July 12, 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.: Single lane closure possible in either direction for cutting grass.
- NAALEHU (Mile Post 68-69.5, near 68 Mile Road and Red Cinder Road):
- Monday, July 14 – Friday, July 18, 8 a.m. – 2 p.m.: Single lane closure possible in either direction for cutting grass.
