HILO, HI – The County of Hawaiʻi Department of Parks & Recreation is excited to announce the launch of its 2025 Summer Fun programs, offering a diverse range of recreational activities for youth across the island during the summer break.

From June 9th to July 18th, keiki will have the opportunity to participate in engaging activities such as arts and crafts, indoor and outdoor games, sports, music, dance, special events, and exciting excursions. The programs are designed to foster creativity, build social skills, and promote a healthy and active lifestyle.

“Summer Fun is a great opportunity for our keiki to stay active, develop new interests, and build connections with their peers during the school break,” said Mayor Kimo Alameda. “I want to thank our Department of Parks and Recreation staff for offering these engaging programs to our youth and providing families with an important lifeline during the summer.”
