HAWAIʻI COUNTY HOSTING LOTTERY FOR HORSE STALL RENTALS

The County of Hawai‘i Department of Parks & Recreation announces it will conduct the annual lottery drawing for assignment of horse stalls at the Pana‘ewa Equestrian Center on Wednesday, September 4, 2024.

The Pana‘ewa Equestrian Center in Hilo includes a variety of equestrian-related facilities, such as a 5/8-mile race track, rodeo arena, wash racks, and 49 rental stalls with attached paddocks. The center is open for public use seven days a week.

The lottery drawing will be held Wednesday, September 4, 2024, at 3 p.m. at the Pana‘ewa Equestrian Center, Al Cabral Grandstand, 800 Stainback Highway, Hilo, Hawai‘i. 

Those interested in entering the lottery must submit an application within the 10 business-day period between August 19, 2024 to August 30, 2024, to the Department of Parks & Recreation,101 Pauahi Street, Suite 6, Hilo Hawai‘i. Applications, which are available at the Department of Parks & Recreation, must be completed and received no later than 4:30 p.m., Friday, August 30, 2024, and will not be accepted on the date of the lottery or prior to the 10-day filing period.
