Hawaiʻi County Planning Department Announces Acceptance of April 2025 Applications

HILO, HAWAIʻI – The County of Hawaiʻi Planning Department has released a public notice detailing the applications accepted during April 2025. The notice, issued in accordance with Section 25-2-3(g) of the Hawaiʻi County Code, provides information on a variety of land use and development proposals across the island.


WINDWARD/LEEWARD PLANNING COMMISSIONS

The applications submitted to the Windward and Leeward Planning Commissions include requests for Special Permits:

  1. His House of Prayer & Praise (PL-SPP-2025-089): Special Permit to Operate a Church on 1 acre, at 15-1745 21st Ave., HPP, Puna, TMK:1-5-040:043.
