Hawaii Island residents and visitors are advised of scheduled roadwork and maintenance activities that may affect traffic across the island from January 21 through January 24, 2025. The Department of Transportation has announced a series of lane closures, detours, and other traffic impacts for multiple locations throughout Hawaii Island. Work will include bridge maintenance, shoulder repairs, road resurfacing, and the installation of new pavement markings. Motorists are urged to plan ahead and allow for potential delays.
