Hawaii Island Police Search for Missing Fern Acres Woman Kanani Meridith (LOCATED)

Hawai‘i Island police report that Kanani Meridith, who had been reported missing on June 12, 2021, was located in Puna in good health.


Hawaiʻi Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 48-year-old Kanani Meridith who was last seen on or around May 13, 2021, in the Fern Acres area.

Meridith is approximately 5’07”tall, 180 pounds, light skin, with brown/gray hair and green eyes.

Police ask anyone with information on the location of Meridith to call the Hawai’I Police Department’s non-emergency line at 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the island wide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000. Crime Stoppers is a volunteer program run by ordinary citizens who want to keep their community safe. Crime Stoppers doesn’t record calls or subscribe to caller ID.
