13-year-old Kayden Dereis was located on Thursday, May 5, 2022, in good health.

Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 13-year-old Kayden Dereis, who was reported as a runaway.

Dereis was last seen in the Keaau area on Wednesday, May 4th, 2022, at approximately 1:00 p.m.  He was last seen wearing gray sweat pants and a red hoodie.

Dereis is described as being fair in complexion with a medium build, about 5 feet tall, 150 pounds, with black hair and light brown eyes.
