Hawaii Police Search for Missing Teen Kanoelehua Awaa (LOCATED)

The Hawai‘i Police Department reports that 18-year-old Kanoelehua Awaa, who was previously reported as missing, was located in Kurtistown on July, 27, 2021, in good health.


Hawai‘i Island police are requesting the public’s assistance in locating 18-year-old Kanoelehua Awaa, who was reported missing.

Awaa is described as being 5 feet 2 inches tall, 155 pounds, with brown eyes and long red hair.

She was last seen on Monday, July 26, 2021, in the Hawaiian Acres area of Puna wearing a long-sleeve denim jacket.

Police ask anyone with any information about Awaa’s whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.

Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the islandwide Crime Stoppers number at 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
