Hawai’i Police Seek Public Help Identifying Wanted Bank Robber

Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect(s) responsible for a bank burglary in downtown Hilo last month. South Hilo Patrol officers responded to an alarm at a bank on Kalakaua Street shortly after 11:30 p.m. on January 26, 2021. Responding officers determined that a window to the bank was shattered and the suspect(s) removed undisclosed items.

The Area I Criminal Investigation Section is continuing this investigation, which is classified as a second-degree burglary.
