Larg breaking waves of 6 to 10 feet are expected. Expect strong breaking waves, shore break, and strong longshore and rip currents making swimming difficult and dangerous.
An ongoing long-period west-northwest swell will gradually subside, but a fresh pulse of shorter period northwest swell is expected Monday, keeping surf elevated along exposed shorelines. Beachgoers, swimmers, and surfers should heed all advice given by ocean safety officials and exercise caution.
A high surf Advisory has also been issued for north and west-facing shores of Niʻihau, Kauaʻi, Oʻhau and Molokaʻi and north-facing shores of Maui
