Kealakehe Transfer Station Closes Early Today Due to Contractor Staffing Shortage

Kealakehe – The County of Hawai’i Department of Environmental Management has announced that the Kealakehe Transfer Station will close early today, January 10, 2025, at 5:30 p.m. due to a staffing shortage with the facility’s contractor.

The transfer station is scheduled to reopen for regular hours on Saturday, January 11, 2025.
