Lane Closures Announced for Hawaii Island State Roads and Highways: Week of Jan. 18 – Jan. 24, 2025

Hawaii Island residents and visitors are advised of several upcoming lane closures across the island during the week of January 18 through January 24. Roadwork will be taking place on multiple state roads and highways, including Mamalahoa Highway, Hawaii Belt Road, Keaau Pahoa Road, and others. Please note that lane closure schedules are subject to change without prior notice, and all work is weather permitting.

Key Lane Closures for the Week of Jan. 18 – Jan. 24:

Mamalahoa Highway (State Route 11)

Kuakini Highway (State Route 11)

Hawaii Belt Road (State Route 19)

Queen Kaahumanu Highway (State Route 19)

Keaau Pahoa Road (State Route 130)

Mamalahoa Highway (State Route 190)

Kohala Mountain Road (State Route 250)

Puainako Street (State Route 2000)

Kalanianaole Avenue (State Route 200)

For the week of January 20, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, there will be no Highway 130 AM contraflow or lane closures unless otherwise permitted.
