Laupāhoehoe Point Road & Bridge Closure November 28, 2022 for Hurricane Lane Repair

The County of Hawaii Department of Public Works – Engineering Division, along with its Contractor, Jas W. Glover, Ltd, announces the closing of Laupāhoehoe Point Road from  November 28, through December 2, 2022. Road construction will include repairing/restoring damaged concrete bridge railings and roadway improvements.

During this construction period, the road will be closed daily from 7:00 am until 5:00 pm to all traffic. After hours, the road will only be accessible to local residents to access their homes. Message boards and road closure signs will be posted at the top of Laupāhoehoe Point Road, and flaggers will be present.
