Life Care Center of Hilo first reported Covid-19 resident makes recovery.

Today, October 15, 2020. Life Care Center of Hilo released the following statement.

Life Care Center of Hilo continues to battle and manage COVID-19, and it’s a tough battle. The dedicated staff is focused on infection control, safety and the peace of mind for the more than 200 residents we serve. We also appreciate the support of our healthcare and government partners as we work through this difficult time.

As we continue our twice-weekly testing, we will share any changes.

We are so thankful to share that our first resident has recovered from COVID-19! We can’t wait to share more recoveries soon. Nine total residents have gone to the hospital for proactive treatment and returned. One resident is currently hospitalized for proactive treatment
