Metal and Appliance Recycling Services Resume at East Hawai’i Transfer Stations

The County of Hawai’i Department of Environmental Management has announced the resumption of metal and appliance recycling services at all East Hawai’i Transfer Stations. This follows the reopening of Big Island Scrap Metal, the County’s designated recycling partner.

The department expressed gratitude to the public for their patience and cooperation during the temporary suspension of services. They reaffirmed their commitment to providing reliable recycling options for the community.
