Today, Prosecuting Attorney Kelden Waltjen announced that a Mountain View woman, 31 year-old Olivia Branco was charged for rendering assistance to a wanted Mountain View man, Isaac Rosa, and unauthorized entry into a Toyota Tacoma.
Branco is the second woman in ten (10) days to have been charged with offenses related to assisting Isaac Rosa.

On December 12th, in addition to five (5) other criminal offenses, Prosecutors charged Bosilka Nash with Hindering Prosecution in the First Degree for allegedly rendering assistance to Rosa as well.

As the Complaint alleges, Branco was charged with Hindering Prosecution in the First Degree (rendering assistance to another person to hinder the apprehension, prosecution, conviction, or punishment of another person for a felony offense) and Unauthorized Entry Into a Motor Vehicle in the First Degree (enter a motor vehicle without being invited, licensed, or authorized, with the intent to commit theft).
Branco remains in custody in lieu of $10,000.00 bail pending her initial appearance today in Hilo District Court.
The investigation was handled by Officer Christopher Fukumoto, Community Policing, and Officers Michael Sailer and Sheldon Adviento and Detectives John Balberde and Keith Simeona, Special Enforcement Unit, Area I Criminal Investigation Section, Hawai‘i Police Department. The case is being prosecuted by Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Kevin Soong.
The charges are merely allegations, and the Defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
The Office of the Prosecuting Attorney remains dedicated to the pursuit of justice with integrity and commitment. Anyone having information to assist local law enforcement should call Crime Stoppers at (808) 961-8300.
