South Hilo Community Policing Section participated with Starbucks Coffee for their “Week of Kindness” appreciation week they held from July 6, thru July 10, 2020.

Community and School Resource Officers assisted Starbucks employees in serving their customers, providing police and patrons a brief opportunity to recognize each other and share some Aloha.

This was a great alternative to the “Coffee with a Cop” program which is currently on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

We look forward to future collaborations with business and organizations in our community and thank all the members of the public we were able to serve.
