Out-of-State Farm Worker COVID-19 Exemption

Farm workers traveling to Hawaiʻi County  are considered essential workers and are allowed to work on the host farm that they are staying at during their self-quarantine period.  See the attached posters for more information and requirements.

Out-of-State Farm Workers- Sample Letter Requesting Exemption

Persons entering the state to perform critical functions such as farmers, farm and ranch workers that are engaged in activities such as raising, cultivating, harvesting, distributing to storage or to market agricultural products are subject to self-quarantine but may request exemption to perform their farm work.

Use attached Sample Letter Requesting Exemption for out-of-state farm workers requesting exemption.
