The Pa‘auilo Transfer Station is closed for most of today due to a shortage of manpower.  It is scheduled to reopen from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. today.  Until then, residents may go to the Honokaʻa Transfer Station.

Equipment repairs have been completed at the Honomū Transfer Station, and it reopened at 9:00 a.m.  Therefore, the Pāpa‘ikou Transfer Station is now closed and is scheduled to reopen tomorrow, June 23, 2020.

We apologize for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patience and understanding.

Please visit our www.hawaiizerowaste.org website for future closure information and locations, or call our Department of Environmental Management, Solid Waste Division Office, at 961-8270.
