As the Federal Indictment alleges, Nacis was charged with Conspiracy to Distribute (conspire to distribute and to possess with intent to distribute 500 grams of more methamphetamine) and Possess with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine and Attempted Possession with Intent to Distribute Methamphetamine (attempt to possess with intent to distribute 500 grams or more of methamphetamine).
On February 14, 2022, U.S. District Court Magistrate Judge Wes Reber Porter ordered that Nacis be released on a $50,000.00 bond with special conditions. His jury trial is scheduled for April 11, 2022.
The investigation was a collaboration between local and federal agencies including the Hawai‘i Police Department’s Area I Vice Section and Area I Special Enforcement Units and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Investigations. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Mohammad Khatib.
The charges are merely allegations, and the Defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
