Police Ask Public’s Assistance Locating Wanted Individual Kakalia-Mika‘ele Goeas (LOCATED)

Hawai‘i Island police arrested and charged 38-year-old Kakalia-Mika’ele Goeas of Papaikou on the strength of a bench warrant after an indictment stemming from a 2019 sex assault investigation.
 
Goeas turned himself in Monday morning, June 27, 2022, at the iHilHHHilo Police Station and posted $60,000 bail. His next court appearance is on Monday, June 27, at 1:30 p.m. in Hilo Circuit Cour


Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance with locating Kakalia-Mika‘ele Goeas of Pāpa‘ikou, who is wanted for a bench warrant after indictment stemming from a 2019 sex assault investigation.

Goeas is 5 feet 9 inches tall, 150 pounds, with brown hair, and black eyes. He is known to frequent the Panaewa area of  Hilo, and possibly operates a green colored 2014 Toyota Tacoma pickup truck.

Anyone with information on Goeas’ whereabouts is asked to call the police department’s non-emergency number at (808) 935-3311 or Lieutenant Robert P. Pauole at (808) 961-2254 or via email at robert.pauole@hawaiicounty.gov. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the island-wide Crime Stoppers number at (808) 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
