Police Investigate Threat Made at Kealakehe Intermediate School

Hawai’i Island police have initiated a fourth-degree terroristic threatening investigation after being informed of an anonymous threat made involving Kealakehe Intermediate School.

On Tuesday, October 15, 2024, at 1:04 p.m., a terroristic threatening report was generated by Kona patrol officers in relation to an anonymous threat.

Although the identification of the suspect has not yet been determined, the police department will have an increased police presence at the school in the coming days. The case is being investigated by detectives with the Area II Juvenile Aid Section.
