Police Search for Escapee Jenna Martin

UPDATE: Hawai‘i Island police report that on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, at 7:45 a.m., Jenna Martin was located and arrested in Pahoa for escape. Martin is currently being held in custody while further investigation is conducted.


Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 34-year-old Jenna Martin who escaped from police custody on Monday, August 15, 2022, at approximately 6:25 p.m.

Martin is described as a local female, around 5 feet 4 inches to 5 feet 5 inches tall, 130 to 140 pounds, with long brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen in the Pahoa area wearing a light brown t-shirt, black and camouflaged colored leggings, and barefoot. 

Police ask anyone who see Martin or know her whereabouts to call 911.
