Police Search for Missing Mountain View Man, Larry Lacanaria

HAWAI’I ISLAND, HI – The Hawai’i Island Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 35-year-old Larry Lacanaria, who was reported missing from Mountain View.

Lacanaria was last seen in the Aloha Estates area wearing surf shorts and a shirt. He is described as a Caucasian male, standing at a notable 6 feet 7 inches tall and weighing approximately 190 pounds. He has blue eyes, a fair complexion, short blonde hair, and a blonde goatee. A distinctive tribal tattoo is located on the left side of his neck.

Authorities are urging anyone with information regarding Lacanaria’s whereabouts to contact the Police Department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311, and direct their attention to Officer Heiarii Lee Chip Sao.

Individuals who wish to remain anonymous can provide information through the island-wide Crime Stoppers number at (808) 961-8300. All information provided to Crime Stoppers is kept strictly confidential.
