Police Seek Hilo Runaway Cherish Ahulau-Kaleo

Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 17-year-old Cherish Ahulau-Kaleo of Hilo, who was reported as a runaway.

Ahulau-Kaleo was last seen in the 70 block of Aupuni Street in Hilo, on the morning of Saturday, September 28, 2024, at 11:45 a.m.  She is described to be Hawaiian with a tan complexion and a thin build, 5-feet 3-inches tall, 160 pounds, with black hair and brown eyes.

She was last seen wearing black shorts and an oversized shirt.

Police ask anyone with information on her whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311 or contact Officer Christopher Barto at Christopher.barto@hawaiicounty.gov.
