Police Seek Public Assistance in Locating Runaway Teen

The Hawai‘i Island Police Department is appealing to the community for assistance in locating 17-year-old Brook-Taylor Sato-Lasky, who has been reported as a runaway.

Authorities state that Sato-Lasky was last seen in the Pāhoa area early Saturday morning, February 15, 2025, around 2:00 a.m.

At the time of her disappearance, Sato-Lasky was wearing a gray jacket, gray t-shirt, and blue jeans. She is described as a local female with a medium build, standing approximately 5 feet 3 inches tall, weighing around 160 pounds. Sato-Lasky has black shoulder-length hair and brown eyes.

The police are urging anyone who may have seen Sato-Lasky or has any information regarding her whereabouts to come forward. Community members can provide tips or information by contacting the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311.

The well-being of Sato-Lasky is of utmost concern, and authorities are hopeful that the public can play a pivotal role in ensuring her safe return. Any assistance, no matter how small, could be crucial in locating the missing teenager.
