Police Seek Yellow Mohawk Suspect Involved in Kea‘au Robbery

Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a male suspect involved in a robbery that occurred near Shipman Beach on the Shipman Beach Trail in Kea‘au on Sunday, June 20, 2021.

The suspect was described as a local male in his 30s, approximately 6 feet tall, slim build, wearing a black shirt, black pants, and black shoes. The suspect is also described as having short dark hair with a yellow colored mohawk.

Police ask anyone who may have information about his identity to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311 or to contact Detective Clarence Davies with the Area I Criminal Investigation Section at (808) 961-2382 or email Clarence.Davies@hawaiicounty.gov.
