Police Seeking Public’s Help in South Kohala Theft Investigation

South Kohala, Hawaiʻi – Hawaiʻi Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest in a cellular phone and identity theft investigation. The incident was reported in the South Kohala District on July 23, 2025.

The person of interest is described as a Caucasian male, between 5 feet 9 inches and 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 175 pounds. He has long curly dark hair with a dark beard. When last seen, he was wearing a blue t-shirt, brown shorts, black shoes, and was carrying a large backpack.
