Hawai‘i Island police are asking for the public’s assistance in locating 15-year-old Kainalu Castro-Santos who was reported as a runaway.

Castro-Santos was last seen in Volcano, on Sunday, January 7, 2024. 

He is described as Hawaiian with a medium complexion and build, about 5 feet 5 inches tall, 150 pounds, with a shaved head and brown eyes.  

Police ask anyone with information on Castro-Santos’ whereabouts to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311 or contact Officer Shane Hanley at shane.hanley@hawaiicounty.gov.
