Police Seeking Suspect in Waimea Terroristic Threatening Incident

Waimea, Hawaiʻi – Hawaiʻi Island police are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a person of interest in a terroristic threatening investigation. The incident took place on June 25, 2025, in Waimea.

Authorities state that the image of the individual was captured by the other involved party while at the Gilbert Kahele Recreation Area, located on Daniel K. Inouye Highway (DKI Highway).

The individual is described as a local man in his early to mid-20s, with a thin build and clean shaven.
