Public Invited to Talk Story During Coffee with a Cop in Kona

As part of their ongoing outreach to the West Hawai‘i community, the Hawai‘i Police Department invites residents to talk story with officers during “Kona Community Policing Coffee with a Cop”, Friday, January 15,2021, 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m., at the Kona Mountain Coffee Co., 73-4038 Hulikoa Dr. in Kailua-Kona. Current social distancing and gathering guidelines will be in effect to ensure everyone’s safety.

Stop by and get to know your district and community police officers over a cup of coffee; talk story on topics of mutual interest and concern. “Coffee with a Cop” is a casual event that has no agenda. Topics of conversation can range from sharing personal stories to discussing neighborhood issues.

All social distancing guidelines will be in place, including maintaining six feet of physical distance and wearing of masks. Tables and chairs will be sanitized after each use. 

This event will be subject to change with regard to COVID-19 restrictions and or additional proclamations issued by county and state government.
