Roadwork to Cause Lane Closures on Hawaii State Roads This Week (April 19-25)

HILO, HAWAII – Motorists traveling on Hawaii Island can expect potential delays next week, April 19th through April 25th, due to various roadwork projects planned across the island. The Hawaii Department of Transportation (HDOT) has announced a series of single lane closures on several key routes, including Routes 11, 19, 130, 190, 270, and 2000.

Drivers are urged to plan accordingly, allow for extra travel time, and exercise caution in work zones. All projects are weather permitting, and schedules are subject to change without notice.
