Seeking Witnesses to Public Indecency Incident in Kona

Kailua-Kona, Hawaiʻi – Hawaiʻi Island police are conducting an investigation into a claim of public indecency incident that was reported in the Kona area.

According to a witness report, a man allegedly committed an act of sexual public indecency against a worker. Police have made an arrest in connection with the incident, which is being investigated as a case of “open lewdness.”

As the individual has only been arrested and not yet formally charged, they are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Any additional witnesses who may have seen this event, similar events involving the same individual in the Kona area or anyone with information that can assist in this investigation is asked to contact Officer T.
