Senator Joy San Buenaventura to Hold 2022 End-of-Session Town Hall Meeting on May 14

Senator Joy San Buenaventura (District 2 – Puna, East Ka‘u) invites her constituents and other interested persons to join her for two town hall meetings to be held in her district on Saturday, May 14, 2022.

The first meeting kicks off at 11:00 a.m. at the Shipman Armory in Kea‘au. The second meeting, later that afternoon, starts at 2:30 p.m. and takes places at the Pāhoa Recreation Center.  

            WHAT:          Senate District 2 Town Hall Meetings

            WHO:             Senator Joy San Buenaventura 

            WHEN:          Saturday, May 14

            WHERE:       Shipman Armory (16-512 Volcano Road, Kea‘au) at 11:00 a.m.

Pāhoa Recreation Center (15-3022 Kauhale Street, Pāhoa) at 2:30 p.m. 

These meetings will give the senator an opportunity to recap the 2022 legislative session and discuss some of the important bills that have passed the legislature. Both meetings will include guest speaker Representative Sylvia Luke (House District 25). The morning meeting will also include guest speaker Representative Chris Todd (House District 2).
