— HAWAII BELT ROAD (ROUTE 19) —

 

1) HONOLII TO HAKALAU (WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Single lane closure on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) possible in either direction between Kahoa Place and Chin Chuck Road on Saturday, Dec. 11 through Monday, Dec. 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for mowing along embankments.

 

2) PAPAIKOA

Single lane closure on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) possible in either direction between Old Mamalahoa Highway/Kaaukai Place and Government Road/Silverton Camp Mill Road on Monday, Dec. 13 through Friday, Dec. 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for sewer line repairs.

3) PAPAIKOA

Single lane closure on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) possible in either direction between Government Road/Silverton Camp Mill and Old Mamalahoa Highway/Kaapoko Homestead Road on Monday, Dec. 13 through Friday, Dec. 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for waterline installation.

 

4) PEPEEKEO (WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Single lane closure on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) possible in either direction between Kulaimano Road and Kapehu Stream on Saturday, Dec. 11 through Monday, Dec. 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for mowing along embankments.

 

5) PEPEEKEO TO HONOMU

Single lane closure on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) possible in either direction between Old Mamalahoa Highway/Airstrip Road and Honomu Road on Tuesday, Dec. 13 through Friday, Dec. 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for mowing/shoulder work.

 

6) HONOMU (24/7 RESTRICTION)

Kolekole Bridge at mile marker 14.27 on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) is weight restricted to 12 tons (24,000 lbs.) until further notice. The speed limit in the area is reduced to 25 mph. See https://hidot.hawaii.gov/highways/weight-limit-for-kolekole-bridge-now-12-tons/ for details.

7) MAULUA TO PAPAALOA

Single lane closure on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) possible in either direction between Kaihuiki Road and Papaa Loa Avenue on Tuesday, Dec. 14 through Friday, Dec. 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for mowing/grass cutting.

— KUAKINI HIGHWAY (ROUTE 11) —

 

1) KEAUHOU (WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Single lane closure on Kuakini Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction between Walua Road and Puuloa Road, on Saturday, Dec. 11 through Friday, Dec. 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for tree trimming and mowing.

 — MAMALAHOA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 11) —

 

1) CAPTAIN COOK TO HONAUNAU

Single lane closure on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction between Alii Drive and vicinity of Kiilae Road, on Monday, Dec. 13 through Friday, Dec. 17, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., for paving.

2) NAPOOPOO (WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Single lane closure on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction between Kaohe Road and Kukui O Pae Place, on Saturday, Dec. 11 through Friday, Dec. 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for mowing/grass cutting.

— VOLCANO ROAD (ROUTE 11) —

 

1) HAWAII VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK (WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Single lane closure on Volcano Road (Route 11) possible in either direction between mile markers 27 and 38 on Saturday, Dec. 11 through Monday, Dec. 13 from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. for sign installations.

 

2) MOUNTAIN VIEW (WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Single lane closure on Volcano Road (Route 11) possible in either direction between vicinity of North Peck Road and vicinity of North Kopua Road, on Saturday, Dec. 11 through Friday, Dec. 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for tree trimming and mulching.

 

3) KURTISTOWN TO KEAAU (WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Single lane closure on Volcano Road (Route 11) possible in either direction between vicinity of North Road and Keaau Loop, on Saturday, Dec. 11 through Monday, Dec. 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for mowing/grass cutting.

 

— KEAAU-PAHOA ROAD (ROUTE 130) —

 

1) KEAAU

Single lane closure on Keaau-Pahoa Road (Route 130) in the east/southbound direction between Hawaii Belt Road and vicinity of Opukahaia Street, on Monday, Dec. 13 through Friday, Dec. 17, from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. for paving.

2) PAHOA

Single lane closure on Keaau-Pahoa Road (Route 130) possible in either direction between Ka Ohuwalu Drive and Kahakai Boulevard, on Tuesday, Dec. 14 through Friday, Dec. 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for mowing/grass cutting.

 

— MAMALAHOA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 190) —

 

1) WAIMEA (WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Single lane closure on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 190) possible in either direction between vicinity of Waimea Kohala Airport and Kamakoa Gulch, on Saturday, Dec. 11 through Monday, Dec. 13, 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for shoulder restoration.

2) WAIKOLOA

Single lane closure on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 190) possible in either direction between Kamakoa Gulch and vicinity of Saddle Road, on Monday, Dec. 13 through Friday, Dec. 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for safety improvements.

3) WAIKOLOA

Single lane closure on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 190) possible in either direction between Waikoloa Road and Daniel K. Inouye Highway (Saddle Road), on Tuesday, Dec. 14 through Friday, Dec. 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for shoulder work/landscaping.

— AKONI PULE HIGHWAY (ROUTE 270) —

 

1) KAPAAU

Single lane closure on Akoni Pule Highway (Route 270) possible in either direction between Maluhia Road and vicinity of Niu Lane, on Tuesday, Dec. 14 through Friday, Dec. 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for shoulder restoration and landscaping.
