— KANOELEHUA AVENUE (ROUTE 11) —

1) HILO

Right lane closure on Kanoelehua Avenue (Route 11) in the northbound direction near mile marker 0.6, Hualani Street and Airport Road, on Monday, Jan. 10 through Friday, Jan. 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for driveway installation and concrete work.

— KUAKINI HIGHWAY (ROUTE 11) —

1) KEAUHOU (WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Single lane closure on Kuakini Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction between mile markers 115 and 116, Walua Road and Puuloa Road, on Saturday, Jan. 8 through Monday, Jan. 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for tree trimming and mulching work.

2) KEAUHOU (WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Single lane closure on Kuakini Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction between mile markers 116 and 117, Walua Road and Kahoolele Street, on Saturday, Jan. 8 through Monday, Jan. 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for tree trimming and mulching work.

 — MAMALAHOA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 11) —

1) MOUNTAIN VIEW (WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Single lane closure on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction between mile markers 16 and 17, N Peck Road and Mauna Kea Drive, on Saturday, Jan. 8 through Monday, Jan. 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for tree trimming and mulching work.

 

2) MOUNTAIN VIEW (WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Single lane closure on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction between mile markers 18 and 20, Volcano Road and N Glenwood Road, on Saturday, Jan. 8 through Monday, Jan. 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for grass cutting.

3) VOLCANO (WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Single lane closure on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction between mile markers 26 and 32, Ruby Avenue and Mauna Loa Road, on Saturday, Jan. 8 through Friday, Jan. 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for pavement striping and installation of reflective markers.

4) VOLCANO (WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Single lane closure on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction between mile markers 31 and 33, near Mauna Loa Road, on Saturday, Jan. 8 through Monday, Jan. 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for grass cutting.

5) CAPTAIN COOK (WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Single lane closure on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction between mile markers 93 and 94, Ohia Malu Road and Ahe Kolo Place, on Saturday, Jan. 8 through Monday, Jan. 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for grass cutting.

 

— HAWAII BELT ROAD (ROUTE 19) —

1) PAPAIKOU (WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Single lane closure on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) possible in either direction between mile markers 2.7 to 7, Pukihae Street and Kaapoko Homestead Road , on Saturday, Jan. 8 through Monday, Jan. 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for grass cutting. 

 

2) PAPAIKOU

Single lane closure on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) possible in either direction near mile marker 6.7, Kopilimai Road and Kapue Bridge, on Monday, Jan. 10 through Friday, Jan. 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for utility work. 

3) HAKALAU

Single lane closure on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) possible in either direction near mile marker 13.8, near Kolekole Beach Park, on Monday, Jan. 10 through Friday, Jan. 14, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., for bridge repair work. 

4) HONOMU (24/7 RESTRICTION)

Kolekole Bridge at mile marker 14.27 on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) is weight restricted to 12 tons (24,000 lbs.) until further notice. The speed limit in the area is reduced to 25 mph. See https://hidot.hawaii.gov/highways/weight-limit-for-kolekole-bridge-now-12-tons/ for details.

5) PAPAALOA (WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Single lane closure on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) possible in either direction between mile markers 21 and 22, on Saturday, Jan. 8 through Monday, Jan. 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for tree trimming and shoulder work.

— PAHOA-KALAPANA ROAD (ROUTE 130) —

1) PAHOA (WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Single lane closure on Pahoa-Kalapana Road (Route 130) possible in either direction between mile markers 1 and 7, Uhiuhi Street and Aulii Street, on Saturday, Jan. 8 through Monday, Jan. 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for grass cutting.

 

— KEAAU-PAHOA ROAD (ROUTE 130) —

1) PAHOA

Single lane closure on Keaau-Pahoa Road (Route 130) possible in either direction between mile markers 4.6 and 4.8, Keaau-Pahoa Road and Pohaku Place, on Monday, Jan. 10 through Friday, Jan. 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for utility work.

 

— MAMALAHOA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 190) —

1) KAMUELA (WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Single lane closure on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 190) possible in either direction between mile markers 2 and 3.9, near Saddle Road, on Saturday, Jan. 8 through Monday, Jan. 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for shoulder work.

 

2) KAMUELA (WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Single lane closure on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 190) possible in either direction between mile markers 2.5 and 4, near Saddle Road, on Saturday, Jan. 8 through Monday, Jan. 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for shoulder work.

3) KAMUELA

Single lane closure on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 190) possible in either direction between mile markers 3.9 and 6.9, near Saddle Road, on Monday, Jan. 10 through Friday, Jan. 14, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for shoulder widening, rumble strip installation and other safety improvements.

— KOHALA MOUNTAIN ROAD (ROUTE 250) —

1) KOHALA (WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Single lane closure on Kohala Mountain Road (Route 250) possible in either direction between mile markers 5.5 and 12, Kekoa Street and Puuhue Road, on Saturday, Jan. 8 through Monday, Jan. 10, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. for shoulder restoration and landscaping.
