1) VOLCANO
Single lane closure on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction between mile markers 23 and 24, Volcano Highway and Alii Anela Street, on Monday, May 9 through Friday, May 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for tree mulching and grass cutting.
2) PAHALA
Single lane closure on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 11) is possible in either direction between mile markers 52 and 56, Maile Street and Ninole Loop Road, on Monday, May 9 through Friday, May 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for grass cutting and shoulder work.
3) CAPTAIN COOK
Single lane closure on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 11) is possible in either direction between mile markers 108 and 109, Koa Road and Nanaina Lani Place, on Monday, May 9 through Friday, May 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for tree mulching and grass cutting.
— HAWAII BELT ROAD (ROUTE 19) —
1) HILO
Single lane closure on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) is possible in either direction between mile markers 2.5 and 2.7, Shipman Street and Puueo Street, on Monday, May 9 through Friday, May 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for Wailuku Stream Bridge improvement work.
2) HAKALAU (WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)
Single lane closure on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) is possible in either direction near mile marker 13.8, near Kolekole Beach Park, on Saturday, May 7 through Friday, May 13, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., for bridge repair work.
3) HONOMU (24/7 RESTRICTION)
Kolekole Bridge at mile marker 14.27 on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) is weight restricted to 12 tons (24,000 lbs.) until further notice. The speed limit in the area is reduced to 25 mph. See https://hidot.hawaii.gov/highways/weight-limit-for-kolekole-bridge-now-12-tons/ for details.
4) NINOLE
Single lane closure on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) is possible in either direction between mile markers 16 and 17, Leopolino Road and Kauniho Road, on Monday, May 9 through Friday, May 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for grass cutting.
5) HONOKAA
Single lane closure on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) is possible in either direction between mile markers 44 and 45, Waipahi Place and Kapuna Road, on Monday, May 9 through Friday, May 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for tree trimming and shoulder work.
— QUEEN KAAHUMANU HIGHWAY (ROUTE 19) —
1) WAIKOLOA
Single lane closure on Kawaihae Road (Route 19) is possible in either direction between mile markers 69 and 75, Hapuna Beach Road and Waikoloa Beach Drive, on Monday, May 9 through Friday, May 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for tree trimming and shoulder work.
— PAHOA-KALAPANA ROAD/KEAAU-PAHOA ROAD (ROUTE 130) —
1) KEAAU
Single lane closure on Keaau-Pahoa Road (Route 130) is possible in either direction between mile markers 0.0 and 3, Hawaii Belt Road and Keaau-Pahoa Road, on Monday, May 9 through Friday, May 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for grass cutting.
2) KEAAU
Single lane closure on Keaau-Pahoa Road (Route 130) is possible in either direction between mile markers 0.0 and 3, Hawaii Belt Road and Keaau-Pahoa Road, on Monday, May 9 through Friday, May 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for installation of traffic signal indicators.
3) PAHOA
Single lane closure on Pahoa-Kalapana Road (Route 130) is possible in either direction near mile marker 15.4, Alaili Road, on Monday, May 9 through Friday, May 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for pavement and guardrail improvements.

1) KAMUELA
Single lane closure on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 190) is possible in either direction between mile markers 3.9 and 6.9, Saddle Road and Cross Island Road, on Monday, May 9 through Friday, May 13, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for shoulder widening, installation of rumble strips and other safety improvements.
