— HAWAII BELT ROAD (ROUTE 19) —

1) HONOMU (24/7 RESTRICTION)

Single lane closure on Hawaii Belt Road at mile marker 14.27 (between Chin Chuck Road and Banyan Tree Road), Monday, Sept. 20 from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for emergency repairs. https://hidot.hawaii.gov/blog/2021/09/19/single-lane-closure-on-hawaii-belt-road-over-kolekole-bridge-monday-sept-20/

Kolekole Bridge at mile marker 14.27 on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) is weight restricted to 4 tons (8,000 lbs.) until further notice. The speed limit in the area is reduced to 25 mph. 2) PEPEEKEO

Hawaii County has created a detour on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) at mile marker 11.2 for the closure of the Makea Stream Bridge. Motorists should exercise caution and obey signage in the work area.

3) LAUPAHOEHOE

Single lane closure on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) possible in either direction between mile markers 26 and 29.4, vicinity of Laupahoehoe Point to Niu Village, on Tuesday, Sept. 21 through Friday, Sept. 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for grass cutting.

4) PAAUILO

Single lane closure on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) possible in either direction between mile markers 35.7 and 39.8, Chopper Boulevard and Paauilo Hui Road, on Monday, Sept. 20 through Friday, Sept. 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for roadway paving.

5) HONOKAA (WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Single lane closure on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) possible in either direction between mile markers 45 and 48, Mauka Cane Haul Road and Hawaii Belt Road, on Saturday, Sept. 18 through Monday, Sept. 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for tree trimming.

6) HONOKAA

Single lane closure on Hawaii Belt Road (Route 19) possible in either direction between mile markers 44 and 46, vicinity of Nienie Gulch and Kawaiholehole Gulch, on Tuesday, Sept. 21 through Friday, Sept. 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for tree trimming and mulching.

— KAWAIHAE ROAD (ROUTE 19) —

1) WAIMEA TO KAWAIHAE

Single lane closure on Kawaihae Road (Route 19) possible in either direction between mile markers 60 and 67, vicinity of Ohina Street and Old Mamalahoa Highway, on Tuesday, Sept. 21 through Friday, Sept. 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for landscaping maintenance.

— KUAKINI HIGHWAY (ROUTE 11) —

1) KONA (WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Single lane closure on Kuakini Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction between mile markers 113 and 116, Mamalahoa Highway and Walua Road, on Saturday, Sept. 18 through Friday, Sept. 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for landscaping work.

 — MAMALAHOA HIGHWAY (ROUTE 11) —

1) CAPTAIN COOK/HONAUNAU

Single lane closure on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction between mile markers 103 and 110, Mamalahoa Highway and Koa Road, on Monday, Sept. 20 through Friday, Sept. 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for paving.

2) NAALEHU (WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Single lane closure on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction between mile markers 67 and 69.5, Lorenzo Drive and vicinity of Kamaoa Drive, on Saturday, Sept. 18 through Monday, Sept. 20, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for landscaping.

3) NAALEHU (WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Single lane closure on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction between mile markers 63 and 66, vicinity of Naalehu and Hao Springs Road, on Saturday, Sept. 18 through Friday, Sept. 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for landscaping.

4) VOLCANO

Single lane closure on Mamalahoa Highway (Route 11) possible in either direction between mile markers 28 and 32, Crater Rim Drive and Mamalahoa Highway, on Monday, Sept. 20 through Friday, Sept. 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for road striping work.

— KANOELEHUA AVENUE (ROUTE 11) —

1) HILO TO KURTISTOWN (WEEKEND/WEEKLY WORK)

Single lane closure on Kanoelehua Avenue (Route 11) possible in either direction between mile markers 0.0 and 8, Kamehameha Avenue and Keaau 9 ½ Mile Camp, on Saturday, Sept. 18 through Friday, Sept. 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for landscaping work.
