The blaze, located adjacent to a Habitat for Humanity site, drew immediate attention from the community and first responders.
Upon arrival, the Kamuela Fire Department’s CO9 unit was met with a harrowing scene. The storage shed, spanning approximately 600 square feet, was fully engulfed in flames. A bystander alerted authorities, expressing concerns that an occupant might have been inside at the time of the inferno.
Swift action was taken as CO9 firefighters launched into fire attack procedures while simultaneously conducting a primary search of the premises. Fortunately, the structure was found to be empty, easing fears of any potential casualties.
