Ten Arrested in Hilo Warrant Sweep

An interagency warrant sweep consisting of officers from the Hawai‘i Police Department Hawaii, Hawaii State Sheriff’s Department and Department of Land and Natural Resources (DLNR) was conducted in Hilo on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, resulting in the arrest of ten wanted individuals for a total of 21 outstanding warrants.

The warrants were for contempt of court, violating conditions of bail, and parole revocation.

The seven men and three women arrested are all Hilo residents and include:

Police ask anyone with any information relative to the whereabouts of other wanted fugitives to call the police department’s non-emergency line at (808) 935-3311. Tipsters who prefer to remain anonymous may call the island-wide Crime Stoppers number at (808) 961-8300 and may be eligible for a reward of up to $1,000.
